Yoga Nidra

Instructor: Anna Meshejian

This 90 minute workshop will open with a quick session on Nidra, often called Yogic Sleep.  We will then relax into a gentle, easeful restorative practice, with gentle adjustments offered.  Class will wrap with a 30 minute guided Nidra meditation to reconnect with our natural state: One of peace.

Cost: $20 Passes not accepted


I grew up near the Satchidananda Ashram, which brought a beautiful person to me as a first teacher: Subhadra. She taught me the foundations of what became my own practice. Regardless of where I was in life, my yoga practice was always to help me reconnect with myself and others. The more I practiced, the better I felt. In 2012, I earned my RYT-200 so I might be empowered to share that experience with others. As part of my Seva, selfless service, I have been teaching Yoga Nidra, mindfulness, and Restorative practices through The nonprofit, Project Yoga Richmond.  I've also completed training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.
